Event Information
Maverick International proudly announces the United Bull Riders Invitational Appreciation for Industry Professional Bull Riding is coming to Ford Arena on Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30. The United Bull Riders are coming to Southeast Texas to take on the rankest bulls in the country. The country’s top livestock contracting company, Beaumont’s Frontier Rodeo Company, will produce the Appreciation for Industry Professional Bull Riding. Frontier Rodeo has once again received the prestigious honors of the PRCA stock contractor of the Year. Frontier Rodeo Company’s extensive background supplying livestock to the PRCA’s American and National Finals Rodeo guarantees the event to be first-rate.
“The Appreciation for Industry Pro Bull Riding has become a great tradition in Southeast Texas, and I’m proud that we’ve established this event as Ford Arena’s annual bull riding. The Appreciation for Industry Professional Bull Riding is a great way to showcase the country’s best bull riders and the best livestock,” says Jerry Nelson, owner of Maverick International and Frontier Rodeo Company.
And who says the bull riders get to have all the fun? Fans can try their hand at bull riding on a mechanical bull, and the stars of the United Bull Riders will be signing autographs and taking photos inside the Family Fun Zone. Cirque La Vie Circus stars will be performing, and kids of all ages will be treated to face painting and balloon animals. Fans with a paid event ticket and admission to the Family Fun Zone will be able to watch the bull riding from their reserved seat or at ground level inside the Family Fun Zone.
Junior cowboys and cowgirls can also get in on the action. The Appreciation for Industry Pro Bull Riding will feature Mutton Bustin for all five-year-olds and younger kids.
And if that’s not enough, Rodeo Superstar JB Mauney is bringing the heat with the Ultimate Bullfighters. The UBF is the ultimate Man vs. Beast competition and the hottest ticket in western sports & rodeo. In freestyle bullfighting, a bullfighter competes for 60 seconds against a fighting bull to score points for skilled maneuvers. But unlike traditional bullfighting, the animals are not harmed or killed. These modern-day cowboy gladiators are judged solely on their ability to perform dangerous stunts as close to the raging bull without getting hit. With a rapidly gaining fan base, the UBF is becoming a massive phenomenon in Western sports and beyond.
The United Bull Riders action starts at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6 pm. Kids ticket prices (ages 2-12) are $50 & $10. Adult ticket prices range from $50-$20.Family Fun Zone tickets are $5. Service and facility fees may apply to ticket prices. Tickets are available at the Ford Arena Box Office, all ticket master outlets, and online at www.ticketmaster.com
