South Texas Ford Dealers Reinforces Commitment to Venue Through 2022

Long-time Naming Rights partner South Texas Ford Dealers renewed its commitment to the Ford Park Entertainment Complex in Beaumont, Texas for another four years, signing a deal that will extend the current Naming Rights agreement through 2022.

“The South Texas Ford Dealers are eager and excited to continue our long standing relationship with Ford Park and their tremendous staff,” Tony Bossard, Regional Supervisor of GTB, said. “With bigger and better entertainment coming every year, the South Texas Ford Dealers are looking forward to doing their part in making Ford Park the best entertainment complex in the area.”

The versatile event center featuring five world-class facilities, which entertains hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, is owned by Jefferson County and operated by Spectra. Spectra’s Partnerships division secured the extension, marking its fifth Naming Rights deal in six months.

“Ford Park has been a staple in Beaumont for 15 years,” Claudio Oliveira, General Manager of Ford Park, said. “Ongoing support from the South Texas Ford Dealers solidifies the company’s commitment to the economic development of the Golden Triangle and its residents.”

Ford has owned official Naming Rights of the venue since 2003, then changing the facility’s name from Southeast Texas Entertainment Center.

“Last year, the area was devastated by widespread flooding, so the extension of this partnership is a beacon of faith that the future of the venue and the city is bright,” said Jim Beaudoin, Vice President of Spectra Partnerships, which has brokered 34 Naming Rights deals in the last eight years. “Companies want to make the greatest impact and show a belief in supporting the communities they serve, and the renewal of Ford Park Naming Rights by South Texas Ford Dealers is a great win for all involved.”

In addition to hosting concerts, family shows, conventions, banquets, and sporting events Ford Park Entertainment Complex is also home to the South Texas State Fair, an annual regional state fair attracting more than 200,000 people each year with a rodeo, livestock show, commercial exhibition, and a carnival Midway.

“We are thrilled to be working with such an iconic brand and announce the extension of our valued partnership with the South Texas Ford Dealers,” Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick said. “We look forward to continuing our work together on servicing our community and showcasing the Ford brand through all of our efforts associated with the premier convention, sporting and live event destination in Southeast Texas.”
